We had an absolutely fantastic experience with this tour company, with whom we booked 6 days in and around Lhasa, which included a trip to lake Namtso. I must credit our coordinator, Bruce, for all of his help and advice, which made the trip an absolute delight and the highlight of our holiday. Bruce was always available and contactable in the run up to our arrival, extremely efficient at helping us sort out things like vegetarian meals for the welcome dinner, and was very helpful in organising our pick up from the train and smooth transition to the hotel in Lhasa. We really liked our tour guide as well, she was very informative and kind, and because we were a small group of around 4 people it meant we were able to navigate around sites easily. It's definitely worth going to Namtso for an overnight trip- don't bother going for just a day trip as you'll be exhausted doing the long journey twice in one day. I couldn't fault this trip, we had a fascinating and memorable time, and would definitely recommend this company, and Bruce in particular.

Bruce at TCT goes above and beyond the call of duty. I was trying to organize my solo 2.5 week trip to China just a couple weeks before leaving and needed to get it all done quickly since I still had to get my visa (they need your plans with your application). All the other travel agencies that I would reach out to in China would take forever to respond or not answer all of my questions thoroughly...after reading some reviews about Bruce on Trip Advisor, I reached out to him in desperation. He was a beam of light!!! He responded right away and helped me to organize my plans and get everything together quickly. I was so relieved..he was literally a breath of fresh air. Throughout my trip in China, he was always available via whatsapp and answered all of my questions and concerns patiently and compassionately. I felt so taken care of secure traveling alone because of Bruce and his advice and willingness to do whatever it takes and help in any way he could. From the moment I placed my initial enquiry until after I came back from my holiday, I was very satisfied with my TCT experience. We booked a tour of Lhasa and Yamdrok-tso lake, which was not available on the dates I wanted but Bruce was able to organise this for me. All the permits and train ticket instructions were received on time along with a very comprehensive itinerary of our upcoming tour. He responded so quickly to all the numerous emails and whatsapp messages with patience and politeness. When we arrived in Lhasa we were greeted by our Tibetan guide Lhakdon and driver and transferred to our hotel, the St Regis, for a day of rest which was much needed. We both suffered from altitude sickness pretty much our whole time in Tibet and Lhakdon took really good care of us and was very helpful and understanding. After having spent some time in China before that, I reckon her English way surpassed that of other people in China! Which is amazing considering Tibetans aren't allowed to have a passport and leave the country! Obviously the Tibetan people's command of English wouldn't be as fluent as a person who has English as a first language, but she was very knowledgeable and explained things the best she could. She was very flexible and accomodating with our plans, and nothing was too much for her to help. Bruce again displayed excellent customer service by calling us on the second and last days of our tour to check and see how we were doing which was much appreciated I cannot fault anything about TCT and any aspect of the tour, and can highly recommend this company to all Western travellers. I booked with TCT based on the reviews I read on TripAdvisor and wholeheartedly agree with all the positive recommendations of the TCT customers before me! Thank you Bruce and Lhakdon for a memorable in Tibet!

Travelled to Tibet in May 2016 for 9 days with 8 friends. Never regretted engaging TCT as our tour agent to plan and organise our trip. Bruce was super prompt in attending to our enquiries all the time, and swiftly helped us obtain the travel permit to Tibet. Throughout the trip, our friendly and caring tour leader Ynes ensured we were being well taken care of. Mountain sickness was no fun at all, but fortunately Ynes helped us go through it by providing us some local remedies. We had an enjoyable time with TCT throughout the entire journey in Tibet and would definitely recommend TCT to anyone who would like to travel to Tibet.

Bruce at TCT arranged my solo trip to see pandas. I had only 28 hours to plan some panda time.I found my private guide, Gretel, easily at the Chengdu Airport and was transported to my hotel. Gretel was amazing. She's from Chengdu so very knowledgeable. She also speaks English excellently. I was so grateful that she took photos of me during my panda volunteer tour! It's 1800 RMB extra to take a picture next to the panda and literally lasts about 20 seconds. Worth the money to me! My experience was flawless, which I appreciate being from outside the country. He responded to my emails quickly. Details of the trip were clear. It was my favorite day of my entire time in China! Thank you

starting from the first contact I would like to highlight the cordial tone and professionalism with which TCT and particularly Mr. B. Tang have handled my bookings/permits etc.; the advise provided has always been spot on and whenever there were 'surprises' (i.e. last minute flight cancellations) every effort has been made to ensure an acceptable solution... it is clear that TCT has a lot of experience in what they are doing and they are doing it extremely well!

FYI - I am a married woman, my husband plays in a golf tournament every June and I take a trip with either girlfriends or by myself. This year I decided I would go to China. None of my girlfriend could go, so I went by myself.I was basically doing a DIY China trip. I had booked my air and hotels and sent off for my China Visa. That is when I found out that I needed a separate visa for Tibet. To get a visa for Tibet you have to go through a China travel agent not the China Embassy. The China Embassy declined my visa since I was traveling to Tibet. This is how I found Bruce at Travel China & Tibet. Bruce said no problem that this happens and he gave me options on tours in Tibet. I sign up for my tour, he sent me the paperwork for my China visa, and I sent to the China Embassy and they approved by China visa. Bruce had my Tibet visa waiting for me in Xi'an. I prefer a private guide as you can cover additional places as it only you and the guide vs. a group. You also have the 1 on 1 personal time, so you really get to know a real person in the country you are visiting vs. listening to someone through a ear piece and following a flag. Just not my type of traveling.I booked my visit to Tibet with Bruce. He told me since I was traveling to Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai also, it would be cheaper to book all my tours with 1 agency vs. several and he could help me with those cities also. I checked this out and this is true. Doing my own research I had an idea in each of the cities what I wanted to see. Between multiple emails between Bruce and I, we worked on my itinerary for all 4 cities. I left on May 31st and came home on June 16th. Bruce had everyone set up in each of the cities I visited. Bruce would also call my guide and ask to talk to me. He did this when I arrived in each city and before I left each city. Bruce wanted to make sure that I was having a vacation of a lifetime. I was not feeling well in Lhasa after we visited the Potala Palace. Bruce called and checked up on me, plus my guide came back to the hotel later that day to make sure I was doing better.All the guides that Bruce set up for me were fantastic! I could not have had a better trip without Bruce's help. Some people prefer group tours vs. private tours. Bruce can help you with both.Some people do not like to do any research for their trip, just pick the cities and let the agent advise best things to see and do. Bruce knows China very well and can put together a great itinerary for you.

I travelled around Asia for several months; the China/Tibet part was arranged by Travel ChinaTibet (TCT). TCT is the best travel agency I dealt with so far, so I recommend contacting them as soon as possible and book a trip with them if you are interested in going to China or Tibet. I already had contact with another travel agency, but because of lack of flexibility I was looking for another travel agent, and I'm glad I found TCT. Bruce, the contact person is amazing; he will do the best he can to help you plan the trip of your dreams. He answers any questions I had right away, and even contacted me when I arrived in China to check whether everything was alright. Any problems (ie. a cancelled train) that arose were solved professionally. The price was fair and comparable with other travel agencies.I booked a group tour, and the group was very nice; with friendly people that got along well. Of course the trip itself was really amazing. Of the three guides that were arranged for me, all three of them were also absolutely amazing; they will go far to gave me the best experience possible and sacrificed their own spare time to show me something extra. For example my Chengdu guide brought me to the Sichuan opera and helped me get a ticket after the official tour in Chengdu was finished. Overall they were very friendly and cared for the wellbeing of the group, as well professional and knowledgeable. We are a group of friends, 10 pax decided to go for an adventurous trip to Tibet, to the mysterious land that topping the wishlist of worldwide travelers. We got our air ticket booked a year before, and started to look for the ground tour options available 3 months beforehand, sent out a few e-mails and TCT is the most efficient and provide excellent advices to us. Bruce is very professional and drafted a very good itinerary to accommodate our time in Cheng Du and Tibet, everything from transportation, hotel and food were nicely arranged, and tour guide Mr Doche and Ynes are very helpful and informative too. We wanted to go to Tibet, but you can only get there via a tour. So after much research we opted to go through Bruce at Travel China Tibet. The best decision ever! The communication was fantastic. We were given a tour to suit our needs, and because we were the only ones on the tour we could adjust it once we were there. Bruce organised the delivery of our permits to be delivered to out hostel in Beijing. He also organised our train tickets in and out. When we were in Tibet he even phoned to check everything was going well. Thank you Bruce and Travel China Tibet. We loved Tibet and you guys made it possible and very easy to do! Good price too
