“A Worry-Free Tibetan Holy Land Tour”

afrom USAvisited in June 2015
Bruce, the representative of Travel China Tibet, is responsive and organized so that you can enjoy a worry-free tour. We went for the Four Day Lhasa City Private Tour and we returned with plenty of pictures and great memory. (https://www.flickr.com/gp/124553142@N04/6hW95E ) The hotel stay included in the tour package was a strong plus (I will review separately soon) because of its friendly staff and convenient location. It is within walking distance to all the places we care to explore during our stay.Recommendations: 1. If possible, acclimate yourself to high altitude activities before visiting Lhasa. You will suffer less high altitude sickness and enjoy additional activities there. 2. Read info about Lhasa and plan additional self-exploration accordingly.3. Ask your tour guide for extra exploration. For example, upon request, our tour guide, Ms. Migmar Dolma, took us to restaurants that only locals dare to venture into.

“Tibet Travel”

We had a really good time in China. A truly spectacular and well organized trip to Tibet which we can only recommend. Bruce is very helpful and has been very quick to answer any questions we might have. We can recommend to book a cruise on the Yangtze River through TCT also. Lars

“Professional, Helpful and Knowledgeable Team”

afrom Canadavisited in July 2015
I traveled to Tibet with my aunt and a friend in July 2015. This agency helped with the booking and delivery of train tickets (we rode on the 22-hour train from Xining to Lhasa), the permit to travel to Tibet, the planning of our week-long trip (which was adapted several times to meet our specific needs), and continual contact with us while we were in Tibet to ensure that everything was going well - including helping us when we needed it the most when one of us was experiencing altitude sickness at 3 am. Our tour started in Lhasa. We then drove to Gyantse, Shigatse, and Namtso Lake. Our guide, Penpa, was friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable. All of the temples, monasteries, and landscapes that we saw were breathtakingly beautiful, and Penpa taught us so much each place and Tibetan culture in general.Thank you to the Travel China Tibet team for making our trip so incredible! We would definitely recommend this tour agency to friends and family who are considering visiting Tibet and/or China.

“Incredibly Tibet: enhanced by this team”

afrom USAvisited in July 2015
When we decided to focus a trip to Tibet last year, we found initially the field of agents to be frustrating- language challenges, responsiveness and lack of varied tours were our initial challenges. Once we found this team, it all fell into place seamlessly; Bruce was incredibly responsible to emails (making it seem almost like he works 24/7!), and made what seemed like an incredibly daunting experience to gain the Tibet Travel Permit a simple step-by-step process. Once on the ground in Llasa, our guide Pen and driver made the initial entry experience all the way through our last goodbye an absolute delight. Pen crafted changes on the fly with opening and closing times, wove amazing tales about the monesteries and palaces and shaped a picture of life in historic Tibet that is reflected in her present. We ventured to cliffs, caves and of course the imposing Portola Palace, all shrouded in incense and lit by candles and then hiked up steep trails lined with prayer wheels while prayer flags floated overhead. Pen's knowledge and perseverance helped enhance the experience and even got us into the most sacred space in all Tibet as we witnessed a gilding of the Buddha, walking with the rapt crowd in the tiny chapel. The team continued to add value, with a brand-new SUV to get to where we needed to go and a constant supply of water and advice for dealing with the altitude. We even had an impromptu lunch of local noodles and intense yak broth on one of our outings! We truly felt like we got a little closer to understanding this amazing place thanks to this team and remarkable guide Pen.

“What a professional travel agency!”

afrom Germanyvisited in May 2015
My girlfriend and me decided to plan a 8-days-trip to Tibet in may/june and therefor not to engage a German travel agency as this would have been far too expensive (Tibet anyway is not a cheap travel). So we contacted several agencies in Tibet and compared the promptness and professionality in their answers. Very fast, we noticed that with Bruce from TravelChinaTibet we found a person on the other side of the world who has the knowledge but also the passion and - what's more - the honesty to plan our trip as though it would be his own.I have been traveling through the whole world and therefor got in touch with many lovely and helpful people, but nevertheless you can never be completely sure when you remit money to someone or when you really depend on a contact person. But Bruce is incredible! He is really the most professional and emphatic tour operator we met so far. Service is not only a word for him! To all our questions via mail, he answered within minutes or one or two hours, even when it was 3 o'clock am on his corner of the world. I even asked him to answer later to my questions so that he could find the necessary amount of sleep. It was so important to have a tour operator who carefully answers to our questions instead of sending general prewritten sentences. This got even more important just after the earthquake in Nepal that concerned our Tibet trip as well. We had to make options B and C and D and so on because of all the unforeseen events. Thanks to the willingness and the passion for his work and customers, Bruce guided us through all our preparations and doubts and we also appreciated his phone calls via our guide when we were already in Tibet to know if everything is ok.So all in all, we took the risk to engage a young company (with only 2 tripadvisor comments at that time) and were so lucky to find Bruce and his team (not to forget: when our whole trip was in doubt because of the events in Nepal, Bruce immediately proposed to us to refund the money we already paid - an offer we would certainly not have got from a German travel agency)! We so were able to spend 8 days in Lhasa, Yamdrok, Gyantze, Shigatse and Namtso Lake only my girlfriend and me with a wonderful Tibetan guide (Kharma!) and Tibetan driver (Tupten!).Really thank you so much again for the very unusual professionalism of your support, Bruce! Trips like that are a sort of 'once in a lifetime thing' and so it was a big pleasure to be guided by you and your team!

“The best Travel Company and service”

afrom Abu Dhabi, Unitedvisited in June 2015
I was authorized to organised a trip to Tibet for a VIP family of 10 members, Bruce Tang was my representative in Tibet, we spent almost 4 years together to plan this trip and finally made it happen this year. The first time we were supposed to come in 2012 but had to cancel it due to some reasons, Bruce soon refunded the money and had been keeping in touch with us during the past years, from 2013- 2014 we had some other chances to visit Tibet but all failed, which had added a lot of trouble to Bruce and his company as they had to cancel all bookings again and again, despite of our several cancellations, Bruce was always patient and polite and never treated us like liars. In June 2015, our VIP group finally landed in China all ready for the Tibet Experience, due to technicalities in Chengdu airport we had to land in Shenzhen instead of the original city--Chengdu, this was a big challenge to us because Chengdu was written in the Tibet permit as the entry & departure city, we notified Bruce and thanks to him and the company they changed permit in one day time and had the tour guide bring the permits for the group in Schenzen.Bruce and the Lhasa St. Regis hotel arranged a special welcome ceremony for us, which was very much appreciated as well as the rooms as per request, Bruce managed to get us the best rooms with with an exceptional view of the Potala palace. Our guide (Luobu) was with us back to Lhasa, and guided for us throughout the trip, he was very professional and flexible in making all relevant adjustments, the driver was friendly and the vehicle was great. As a VIP family group, we have been travel around the world and become very picky of the tour service, but Bruce and his team have just done an excellent job in arranging our trip to Lhasa, despite our cancellations you were still with us, thank you Bruce, you are just so amazing!!! The trip was short but but with Bruce at hand the group enjoyed every moment in TibetThe staff at the hotel were all very friendly and made our stay memorable and one of the best.If you are planning a tour to Tibet, please contact Bruce and his company, I am sure they will make your satisfied from start to finish and will leave you with memories of a lifetime.

“Excellent Tibet Trip”

5 of 5 bubblesReviewed June 21, 2015We, a group of three have settled back to our normal life pace in Malaysia. We would like to thank Bruce from TCT for helping us making this Tibet trip a great memorable journey. It was a 9D8N tour, Lhasa-Gyangtze-Shigatse-Lhasa. TCT provided prompt, personalized and friendly customer service. Very often, we found their satisfactory replies in very short period which made our trip preparation smooth and easy. Because of the earthquake in Kathmandu, Nepal, we had to re-route our tour and they customized an itinerary that fitted our needs, which was really amazing. The services provided by our tour guide, Lobsang was highly commendable. He is knowledgeable, friendly, interactive and always tried to suit our preference during the trip. He shared with us his own experience and brought personal anecdotes to the tour. On the other hand, our driver took us safely to the destinations, especially when we knew that there were many road accidents happened in the past. Our only suggestion is we would prefer a 4WD over a MPV, which is more comfortable during long journeys. Bruce did explain to us that because of the Chinese government new safety regulation, there was lack of 4WD for tourists in Tibet. All in a nutshell, I highly recommend TCT and will spread the good work among our friends who intend to visit Tibet.

“Excellent Trip Forever!!”

Our family of 4 persons have just returned home safely from our memorable trip to Tibet, we want to say THANK YOU to Bruce at TravelChinaTibet.com for everything he did for us. We planned the tour 20 days before it was started, we knew that it was limited time and really worried about this trip, but Bruce successfully booked us 4 soft sleepers in a same cabin (from Chengdu to Lhasa), which enabled us to enjoy the amazing highland landscapes from the train windows! We were really lucky. Bruce also perfectly arranged everything from the permit to the logistics in Tibet. Our trip was 6 days from Lhasa to Shigatse and return, our guide Luosang guided for us during the entire trip, he is knowledgeable and great english, always willing to answer our questions, we love this young guide! The driver does not speak any english, but a good driving skill and always friendly. It is a pity that we were not able to do a longer trip, but hope to return some time in 2016 for a further trip to Everest, will certainly use Bruce and TCT’s service again. Thank you Bruce and Luosang, you are amazing people, we love you all !

“My “best ever” travel company experience”

afrom USAvisited in April 2015
I can't begin to describe what a great experience I had with TravelChinaTibet.com, but here goes... Bruce Tang was my representative and was beyond amazing in his responsiveness, subject matter knowledge and helpfulness. Coming from the U.S., I was meeting my daughter in Beijing as she wrapped up her study abroad program there. We stayed in Beijing and then headed to Tibet. We continued on through Nepal, Qatar, and back to the U.S. so it was a complicated trip around the world. Bruce was right there with me as we planned the China/Tibet legs and worked through the logistics of hotels, personal guides, permits, visas, etc. No matter when I sent an e-mail, I got a response in minutes (Does he ever sleep?) While we were in China and Tibet, Bruce personally checked in with hotel personnel and guides multiple times to make sure things were running smoothly. Our trip was truly something I will remember always and my gratitude to Bruce and TravelChinaTibet.com is heartfelt. On such a journey, there are a myriad of things that can make travel difficult: language barriers, unfamiliarity with locations, different customs, governmental regulations, and so forth. Bruce helped me cut through all of this and make it a trip of a lifetime...Well, at least until the next one I book with them!
