We originally planned to visit Everest, but due to the closure of Everest we made another 8 days plan to Shigatse & Namtso instead. After over one month communication with Bruce (very good english and professional), the tour looked perfect, we paid via credit card and got the confirmation letter from TCT, meanwhile we refused Bruce’s offer of the train booking and let a local Shanghai agent to book our Shanghai to Lhasa train. But one week prior to the tour, our agent in Shanghai told us they could not get the train tickets as planned, which made us very nervous, we contacted Bruce for help, just in two day’s time Bruce and his company used their power secured 2 soft sleepers for us and we recevied the tickets from from our friend’s residence in Shanghai, thank you so much Bruce and TCT, our trip might have been ruined if the train tickets could not be guaranteed, but you made it possible!!!!We successfully arrived at Lhasa train station and found our guide waiting there holding a pickup board, he escorted us to hotel for rest. On day 2 we met other group members and had a wonderful welcome dinner together. The tour was very enjoyable, the guide was good english and the vehicle & hotel were all like expected. The highilghts should be the Potala Palace and Namtso Lake, which perfectly showed us the cutural and natural wonders of Tibet area. Thank you Bruce and TCT for supporting our trip, you are a powerful and reliable company to recommend, we will not forget you Bruce!!!

He kept in touch with us throughout our recent trip to Tibet and various locations in China, helping to resolve any issues and always asking for our feedback. We recommend him very highly !!! In arranging local guides for each place you visit, we suggest you consider what kind of guide you want (very active with information, or more passive only answering your questions for example) and let Bruce know beforehand so he can select the right person for you. As the other reviewers have stated, Bruce puts lots of personal time and care into each trip which is something of great value in today's highly standardized world.

We finally made this tour, which we had planned for 3 years! By seaching on Tripadvisor we sent out inquriies to different agents, Bruce at TravelChinaTibet was the most prompt one to reply our email and offered a reaonable price. Many questions were asked by us since it was our first time to travel Tibet, but Bruce was very professinal in answering all of our questions and postively worked in enveings and weekends to reply our emails! We were very impressed and quickly dicided to book with his company. What a right decision we made! We collected Tibet permti from the bell counter of our hotel in Chengdu (booked by Bruce), later our Tibetan guide Punk greeted us at Lhasa airprort and guided for us during the next 6 days. Punk is 26 years old young man but great knowledge and excellent english, we also met some other groups during the tour and had difficulties to understand their guide’s engilsh, it was great have Punk as our guide! Bruce kept on track of our our tour and talked to us over the phone for evaluation, very good sevice! It was amazing tour, great hotel, excelllent guide and driver, and most importantly the excellent service from Bruce and all his backup team. Thank you Bruce for all you have done, TCT is the best tour company we have ever used!

I traveled with my father to Tibet and was met by our guide right outside the Lhasa airport. He was super friendly and fun to talk to, and had an extensive knowledge about everything we saw or experienced. Travel China Tibet Tours put a huge amount of care and attention into our case, from the day we signed up to a week after we returned home. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

We booked a private tour for 9 days from Lhasa to the boarder of Nepal. The tour was organized very good and we had every day enough "freetime" to walk arround by ourselves which i really appreciated. The tourguide and the driver were both tibetian and this makes it more authentic. The driver didn't speak english but this didn't matter at all. His driving skills were just awesome and this is what counts at the end. We went up some really high mountainroads and i never felt scarry. We had a great time in Tibet and were very happy with all choosen hotels except the one at the boarder but i'm not sure if there is a better option. If you have the chance to sleep in the tent at mt. everest basecamp, do it. Great experience! During the whole trip we could stop to take pics how much we wanted and we never felt uncomfortable. While organizing the trip, we had great support from Bruce, he answered all our questions very quick and professional. We will recommend this tour operator to everybody. We traveled with our two children (6 and 9) to China and Tibet this April, we would like to thank Bruce for arranging such an amazing tour for our family. We travelled from Beijing to Xian, saw the pandas in Chengdu then boarded a 40+ hours train to Lhasa, finally flew to Shanghai to end our tour. We had all 5-star guides in each destination, all of them spoke fluent English and friendly, even though drivers were no english speaking but experienced and polite, no chicken die, no accident. Hotels booked were clean, comfortable and centrally located, the Tangka Hotel seems good enough for Lhasa, but could not compare with other 4 star hotels we stayed in China, Tibet is a kind of remote area, so we totally understand it. As our wish that we had most of our meals excluded, but our guides recommended some really nice local restaurants for dinning, which was very much appreciated. Bruce took good care of our family during the entire tour, he either called or emailed us from time to time to make sure we were satisfied with all aspects, something we were very moved was that Bruce ordered a big birthday cake and a small furry panda toy for our daughter Sophie, she was very happy and loves the panda gift. That was special experience to had her 6 year’s birthday celebrated in Tibet, we will not forget it. Thank you Bruce and your backup team, we really appreciate what you have done for our family, we couldn't have done it without you. I will recommend you to our friends and also the readers on TripAdvisor, if you visit our country one day, we will be glad to be the host!

Giving reviews is not my thing but I usually read feedbacks before planning my trip so I thought of "giving back" and since I came across this travel agency thru tripadvisor so might as well. I had my previous trips in Shanghai and Beijing without any problem in getting a chinese visa but recently ( in the country where I applied with ) they required a Letter of Invitation, the embassy did not even care at my bank statement. I emailed 3 agencies ( 1 of whom I used their service with my previous trips ) but they wanted me to make a commitment already by initiating a payment deposit. Only BRUCE TANG from the travel China Tibet replied that He is willing to help me and its UP TO ME if I will used their service once I get the visa. Truly, this is a once in a lifetime trip and HUGE thanks Bruce for all the assistance and quick replies from my querries and also for making the trip worthwhile and safe as possible. On the third day Bruce called thru the guide and checked on me and how is the tour doing. My only regret was not following your recommended hotel because I think I was ripped off by a 5 star hotel. I will surely recommend your travel agency to my friends. Whole heartedly, Thank you Bruce and Tashi (our guide).

We booked a private tour from Lhasa to Nepal . Bruce and his team are really professionals and everything went smooth and perfect. Our driver and car was good and the tour guide was especially in religion related issues awsome. The tour guide and driver were freelancer and origins from Tibet which made the whole trip more authentic. The tour guides English was good, unfortunately our driver didn't speak english. We would have favoured an older tour guide with more experience but also young guys should get chance to earn more of it. Decided sites were amazing! Well organized and even if we didn't met Bruce, he was always there if problems would have occured. Thanks Bruce for a fantastic experience with lot of fun and interesting tour!

I already live in China so my trip was just a five day excursion to Lhasa and Namtso Lake. Before departure Bruce took care of everything, offering me several date and itinerary options and taking care of my permit requirements.All of the guides I met during my stay were of the same high grade, great English, very helpful, on time and always ready to that extra mile. On our visit to Namtso we arrived at the entrance to the Pass to find it closed due to snow, instead of just turning around our guide was happy to wait despite an apparent lack of any positive news.( We were rewarded for waiting and eventually reached Namtso, DO NOT MISS THIS EPXERIENCE!). Our second guide was very knowledgeable regarding the tourist spots in Lhasa and was also willing to recommend several tea houses, bars and restaurants. The transfers were all seamless and the vehicles used throughout my stay were up to the task.I can recommend Tibet to anybody and if you go you cannot choose better than Travel China Tibet.

I have taken three trips with Bruce and company in China and will always return to his excellent tour company. I do not know of many tour operators who provide as much attention and care to the trips than Bruce and his team. It would be wise to consider him as your guide to Tibet and China as I will be back in 2015 to Tibet. His English is excellent and he makes sure he understands what you want from a trip and executes very well. There have been a couple of trying moments (weather and travel conditions) when we travelled in China that I was so grateful that Bruce was there with us to get us through. The trips and plans he has are well studied and complete, which maximizes the chance for an absolutely wonderful, unforgettable trip.
