China Visa for Nepal to Tibet  (Update in March 2026)

1) If you DO hold a passport from one of the countries eligible for 15/30-day visa-free entry to China, you DO NOT NEED to apply for the China Visa. What we need from you is ONLY your passport copy, with your passport copy we are able to apply the Tibet Travel Permit for you. 

2) If you DO NOT hold a passport from any of the countries eligible for 15/30-day visa-free entry to China, you NEED to apply China Tourist Visa(L type visa) from the Chinese embassy located in your country. We need your passport copy + China visa copy to apply the Tibet Travel Permit for you. But please kindly note that you should NOT mention the Tibet travel when applying China tourist visa.
