The Terms and Conditions below govern the relationship between our customers and TravelChinatTbet.com (namely TCT as below). By booking a trip, you agree to abide by following Terms and Conditions. Please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
Reservation
Step 1: Send us inquiry to get a quote with 0.5-23.5hrs
Step 2: One on One travel consulting service with one of our travel experts
Step 3: Free modification and alteration based on your requests
Step 4: You make deposit payment and we start the booking
Step 5: About 1-7 days after the deposit is received, we will send you the 1st version Confirmation Letter
Step 6: About 30 days prior to the tour start date, you need to make the balance payment
Step 7: After the balance is received, we will send you the 2nd version Confirmation Letter with the updated payment status
Step 8: About 10 days prior to the tour start date, we send you 3rd (final) Confirmation Letter with completed information of tour guides + flights + trains, etc.
Note:
If any conditions should change after the confirmation, TCT reserves the right to make changes and provide you with the similar alternative options.

B: The quotes we provide are in based on Chinese currency, which is called CNY or RMB, the equivalent quote in USD is based on the most updated exchange rate between RMB and USD. The USD quote is subject to the fluctuation of exchange rates, though our RMB quote remains the same.
Cancellation & Refunds
We would feel sorry if you decided to cancel your trip to China, however we do understand it. If you must cancel your trip, please inform us via email, the cancellation refunds will be calculated as follow, but it might vary according to different group’s situation. .
Cancellations made 45+ days prior to departure---refund 70% of your payment
Cancellations made between 44 to 30 days prior to departure---refund 60% of your payment
Cancellations made between 29 to 15 days prior to departure will---refund 40% of your payment
Cancellations made between 14 to 1 days prior to departure---refund 20% of your payment
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services
Note:
Additional cancellation fees imposed by the service providers other than our company (may include but not limit to bank transfer fee, PayPal fee, airlines, hotels, railway, cruise companies, etc.) will be deducted from the refund
If you want to change the date or change for another tour on the same date, we will try to make it no cancellation loss to you, it depends on the actual status.
Alteration of Itinerary
Before your booking is confirmed, alterations to your itinerary are happily processed for free of charge, because providing the best possible tour to you is our goal, visitors only need to pay the additional cost caused by the changes of tour items (such as hotel upgrade or flight changes). Please kindly note that all changes are subject to availability and cannot be 100% guaranteed.
We reserve the right to modify the itinerary of your tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, force majeure, and/or any events beyond our control. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/ refunded accordingly. If it is you who request the changes to your tour, then you will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.
Travel Document
A passport and visa with minimum of 3 months validity is required for passengers traveling with us. Responsibility for documentation accuracy, passport validity and dispatch of documents rests with the client. We accept no responsibility for any failure in this respect. Clients must clearly provide their passport scanned copies; otherwise we have no responsibility for any delays, transport failure.
Luggage Allowance
According to the regulations of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg (44pounds) for the economy class, 30kg (66pounds) for the business class, and 40kg (88pounds) for the first class. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of yours. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
Medical Issues
You must advise us prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own small, collapsible wheelchair (actually many Chinese hotels provide wheelchair service). Certain features, and certain trips, are not wheelchair-accessible. We reserve the right to decline any trip participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants.
We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.
You should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize yourselves with health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries you are going to visit or transit.
Travelers to Tibet have to realize that Tibet is highland, they need to be responsible for their health to travel in this area. Visitors booking with us are automatically regarded as healthy to travel in Tibet, we do not take any responsibility if visitors hide their health issue for making the trip possible.
Insurance
Chinese insurance companies are not efficient to work with and the insurance products do not cover such a wide range or huge compensation amount, so it is required that you should purchase proper travel insurances before leaving your home country to cover a wide range such as trip delay, trip cancellation, evacuation, etc.
Responsibility
The responsibility of TCT and its affiliated branches is strictly limited. We shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not directly owned or operated by TCT.
Without limitation, TCT is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from--but not limited to--acts of God or force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes of other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of TCT. Nor is TCT responsible for the stolen and loss of your valuable items due to your own negligence.
TCT is not responsible for your failure to comply with customs regulations.
TCT reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If TCT has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, TCT is liable for a full refund of the money received by TCT. If you purchase an airline ticket separately, ensure that your agent explains the conditions under which the ticket is issued as TCT is not responsible for such airline ticket cancellation fees.
TCT reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges.
Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. TCT reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
Many of TCT tour packages include activities that require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. TCT, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
Force Majeure
Compensation payments do not apply where performance of our contract with you is prevented by risk or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist, natural disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion of airport or ports, cancellation or change of scheduled airlines and similar events beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
TCT acts as a coordinator for all persons taking the tours, in the making of all arrangements for transportation, sightseeing and hotel accommodation. The company does not own, manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, any hotel, restaurant or any other supplier of services. All soupcons receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and all services are subject to the laws as an agent for the owners contractors and suppliers of transportation and/or other related travel services provided and assumes no responsibility for the loss or damage to baggage or property, no responsibility for any injury, illness or death, no responsibility for any damages or claims howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly from accidents, loss, or damage to person or property, no responsibility for delays, transport failures, strikes, wars and uprisings or acts of God, etc over which the Company has no control.
Complaints and Claims
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service TCT has provided, please inform your travel consultant immediately to avoid similar problems happening again either before or during your trip.
If you want to complain or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email within 30 days upon your finish of your tour. Please attach relevant receipts and substantiating evidence to the letter of claim. TCT will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after you finish your tour.

TCT reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice.
