Shanghai to Lhasa Train

Shanghai is one of the most convenient Chinese gateway cities for worldwide travelers to board their trains to Lhasa. With the establishment of Qinghai-Tibet railway in 2006, travellers could visit Tibet by train directely from Shanghai. The railway line covers 8 provinces from east to west China and has 4373 km in total. It normally takes about 48 hours.


The train Shanghai to Lhasa is Z164, which departs DAILY from Shanghai Railway Station at 20:10 and arrives Lhasa on Day3 at at 19:44. And the return train from Lhasa to Shanghai is called Z166, which departs DAILY from Lhasa at 11:05 and arrive in Shanghai on Day3 at 11:51.
